[Princesses] BINGO: First Person Narration (Princesses and Boundries)

You know why you never see or hear of one without an extensive retinue, or a court, or, hells, a kinght in shining armor?
Because that retinue enforces boundries. Expectations. Whatever you call it.

Boundries like the ones that were being violated *right in front of my eyes*. I ground my teeth in frustration, as I waited for my particular fairy princess to quit "flirting" with a particularly dumb, albeit muscle-bound and symetrically-featured, male speciman of the human race.

"Magdalene." I said shortly. "You are going to be late for your Physics lecture."

My princess sighed wistfully, but dutifully turned back to the idiot to begin severing their contact. The idiot, however, glared at me. I just stared back, dead pan. Unlike my princess, I felt no need to endear myself unduely to the local population.

"Why do you care?" He snapped at me. "I'm tired of you always hurrying Maggie away. It's not like she's your girlfriend or something." He said the last with a scornfull curl of the lip.

My princess, to her credit, straightend up abruptly, and turned to leave.

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever. Don't try to speak to Magdalene again." And then I followed her. I didn't care what such a creature thought of me.

I don't know why the Nereuian Dynasty feels the need to send their heirs and offspring to be educated in the human world. Oh sure, I know and have repeated the party line that it increases greater human/fae understanding, that the insight gained by the heirs will keep our people safer in a world filled with humans and their science, but honestly. That's what they have people like me for.

Much to my chagrin upon coming to the human side of the rainbow, my princess has continually fit in better then I have. She is pretty and sweet and kind, and dislikes harming other's feelings. While these are admirable traits, to some extent, and is accepted by most of the humans she comes in contact with, I am her bodyguard, and am thus turned first to her service. In layman's terms: I don't give a flying fuck for these peons. Strike one against my cover.
Strike two was my appearence. My princess follows closely to the Nereuian mold: Dark, very straight hair, long face, olive skin, and the Nereuian nose, which unfortuantly for my princess, generally better suits the male half of the family. I, however, have the tri-color hair of the Seatatan lines- in my case, one of the rarer combinations, tiered blue, black, and white. I also keep it short. That, combined with a somewhat surly demenor and a muscular stature, apparently convayed to these humans that I was a "dyke" or "butch". Whatever. Skirts and those tight jeans that the female humans on this campus seem to prefer are much too tight to move in, much less hide anything. My princess, of course, loves those tiny skirts, when she’s not running around in spandex for her rowing.
